Die Taz meint, die Leute geben 1% weniger Geld für Bioprodukte aus. Vielleicht können sie es garnicht mehr; aber nicht weil das Geld fehlt, sondern weil einfach die Läden fehlen. Im großen Umkreis sind Plus die Ketten gewesen, die Bio verkauft hat. Nun wurden die alle Platt gemacht; Netto ist die Devise. Dazu werden viele neue gebaut, so dass man zum Teil den einen von dem anderen aus sieht (etwa DD Hecht, DD Johannstadt). Wie das am Kartellamt vorbeigehen konnte, weiß man nicht. Vermutlich gibt es kein Kartellamt für einzelne Städte, sondern nur für das Land als ganzes.

Plus und Netto unterscheiden sich. Plus hat viel BioBio was halbwegs bezahlbar war. Netto hat einen kleinen Teil übernommen; den anderen nicht oder superviel teurer (z.B. Plusmarktsmoothie, zusammen mit Billigjoghurt ein unter Studenten gern gesehener Billigsnack). Stattdessen gibt es 10¢-extra-für-die-Landwirtschaft-Produkte; als ob die deutsche Landwirtschaft keine Lobby hätte.

Chemnitz traf es noch schlimmer, dort wurden die Plus’se durch Penny ersetzt. Sieht ästhetisch genauso doof aus wie Netto (Schriftarten, Preisschilder, Werbung, etc.) hat aber noch weniger Auswahl. Schon werden Witze laut, ob mangelende Auswahlmöglichkeiten der Einwohner künftig zu Mangelerscheinungen führen werden, wenn die Kette kein Produkt mit Vitamin X vorrätig hat. Überhaupt ist es in Chemnitz – vom Kaufhof mal abgesehen – ziemlich schwierig an halbwegs gutes Essen – etwa Käse, welcher nicht zu den 5 discounterakzeptierten Sorten gehört – zu kommen.

Zu den Bioprodukten. Natürlich kann man die auch in kleinen Biofairtradeladen im Ort kaufen, evtl. auch nur 20% teurer im Vergleich zu den gleichen Bioprodukten aus dem Supermarkt. Die Kassiererin bekommt wahrscheinlich nur das gleiche mickrige Gehalt (weil sich so ein kleiner Laden nicht rentiert). Warum sollte man nicht auf die Logistik der großen Läden zurückgreifen? Beschwert sich doch auch niemand, wenn man direkt beim Bauern kauft, und damit seine Logistik optimiert.

Also Ladenkettenbesitzer, macht sinnvolle Filialen in gleichgeschalteten Städten auf.

on the search of space in the net; where i could put a svn/git repository i found the prices for virtual servers heavily falling. 5gb + 500gb traffic / month for around 5€ seems possible now. there are even cheapier ones; but they don’t look too reputable. ideas what you could do with that
- install your own flickr (let other people go there with openID)
- sync all your stuff encrypted
let’s decentralize the web2.0 and i don’t know what makes people paying a lot of $$$ for spying sync space like apple mobile me or ubuntu one.

The last week did not brought too much goodness for any techie interested in free thoughts. Pirate Bay was judged by a swedish court for a crime they did not commit, at least in the general techie opinion “it is not illegal to know someone who do something illegal and to tell you this”. Of course you can easily automate this knowledge and say “ok; tell me who has file XYZ, and I will tell others who has XYZ”. It’s basically the same what each search engine does. In fact you could even replace a regular torrent tracker by a search engine:

There are millions of websites where you can add content. Imagine a tag to describe tracker-like content, e.g. ABC (in practice it shall be more complex). So if you wan’t to share your new music track “mysong1.mp3″ just post “ABC mysong1.mp3 [filesize] [ipadress of seed1]). And everyone could find it using google (“ABC mysong1.mp3″). In fact, when you don’t use special websites but grab unprotected ones then you find this a common spammers tactics, but hey, you don’t want to to it? Or?

Maybe even germanys  chief of censership minister of family affairs does realize that it isn’t so easy to censor the web; you just make a lot of damage to the right of public speech.

mm. all the way i’m walking around there are some ideas which could be produced in the near future. how would it be with nice free music application? something like garageband, samplitude or ableton. maybe combineable with a music library in the background. and all in gpl and blender-like-optic. mmm. okay we had this idea already with some free architecture-cad-application, as i know some architecture students which shall pay a lot of $$$$ for their software, of course they can’t.
